These hand turned calls are made of bocote. 
These calls feature a single reed or a double reed insert from Echo calls. The single reed call and is louder than the double reed. Double reed calls are typically easier for beginners. A solid brass band protects the end of the call from splitting.
Each call is first finished with a penetrating oil that offers water protection. Then a hard wax oil finish is applied that offers more water and uv protection. Finally, it is buffed with a paste wax to a beautiful satin sheen. Each call comes in a decorative pouch.
