Biography
I've been involved in photography at a professional level since 1985. From 1992 to 2005, I owned a commercial studio in Mishawaka, Indiana. My primary focus was architecture and the RV market. By 2005, I was burned out and didn't even want to touch a camera.
After snorkeling the barrier reef in Belize during a flyfishing trip, I became a certified diver. A whole new world of photographic opportunities had just opened up. I was inspired again!
In 2005, I sold the studio and with my wife, Julie, moved to beautiful Northern Michigan where we began diving the Great Lakes. Hundreds of dives later, we've photographed the Florida Keys, the springs and rivers of north Florida, Tobermory, Ont., Belize, Bonaire, Honduras, Bali and North Sulawesi in Indonesia, and the Great Lakes.
